MSD to Tests : ALVIDAA

Today when entire world was in dilemma that how to digest the draw match between India & Australia, Just few minutes later Boom… A breaking news flashed on my phone as Indian captain M S Dhoni retires from test cricket with immediate effect. Unfortunately I was having my lunch at that time. I rushed to my office. I saw cricket lovers from my office were sad, as they got to know about it.

Let’s check what he has achieved in his 10 years of test cricket life.
  • ·          Captaining a nation as wicket keeper (60 matches, next is Mushfiquir Rahim from Bangladesh with 19 tests)  in world cricket
  • ·         India’s most successful test captain (27 win out of 60 matches)
  • ·         India’s most successful wicket-keeper batman in terms of match played (90, Next is Syed Kirmani with 88 tests), Highest individual test score 224 (next is Budhi Kundaran with 192).
  • ·         India’s most successful wicket keeper with 294 dismissals in 90 test matches (Next syed kirmani with 198 dismissals), 38 stumping in tests (equal on top with Kirmani).
  • ·         India’s successful Wicket keeper batsman with 4876 runs & 6 centuries followed by 33 half centuries. No other wicket keeper is near to that score.
  • ·         He is India’s highest run getter (3454 runs) as test captain surpassed Sunil Gavaskar’s 3449 runs.
  • ·         He is India’s highest run getter (2871 runs) of test no 7 batsman surpassed Kapil Dev’s 2861 runs.
  • ·         He has affected 9 dismissals in his last test. It’s an Indian record for wicket keeper.

Whatever records I have mentioned here for Dhoni, always remember I only mentioned as “most successful”. He is having numerous record as a wicket keeper as in dismissals, he ranked no 5.  He is ranked no 3 among top run getter in world wicket keepers. No 1 in world to lead his nation for 60 times in test cricket as wicket keeper. & records are just numbers for him.

I never saw a player in Indian cricket, who retired at the age of 33 from test cricket. Still lots of players are in Indian domestic cricket circuit of 33+ ages. Who are hoping to crack one more time into test team. He never plays for records, we can see here. He is just 124 runs behind 5000 test runs, 6 dismissals behind of 300 test dismissals & most importantly 10 tests behind 100 tests. Who has the courage to give away such records only because he thinks in different manners!

In his captaincy we saw Team India had risen to no 1 in test cricket. It never happened in past. Although when he left the team to Kohli, Team India is on no 6 spot.

He is a professional player he proved  it once more time as he attended the post match press conference but didn't say anything. He called BCCI secretary & informed him calmly regarding his decision. Nice to see BCCI accepted the request. One thing I am sure it’s a brave decision as we know he might lose his captaincy to Kohli in test matches but his position as wicket keeper batsman was never under scrutiny. Though he took such decision that entire world get shocked and wish him best of luck for future. Entire world admires him as among world's best captains.

However just for your info that he is not out from world cricket as he is still THALAIVA of limited version of Team India & Team CSK. So he is still THALA of Indian cricket. He will carry the Indian flag in the world cup 2015 in Australia.

You are the reason people loves test matches in India, because we love your super sixes.
We will miss you THALAIVA in longer format, best of luck for your future. However No 7 will belong to you forever. Whoever will join Indian cricket as wicket keeper he needs to match the macho man’s shoes/benchmark.

Once a Thala… Always THALAIVA….

63 Not Out Forever

It’s really amazing how life changes in one ball. A red ball actually changed the life of Hughes family forever. Phil Hughes (1988-2014) was batting on 63* in that time & the story started when Sean Abbott has delivered the bouncer to him and that hit him just beneath the area of helmet. After 2 days of unconsciousness he declared dead on 27th Nov & world was shocked. It’s a huge loss to the cricket Australia.
How I got to know? I just entered at office on 1030 IST & my colleague informed me about this & I felt sick literally. I am really fan of this guy. Especially the way this guy started his test career against South Africa in back as 20 year guys (one of the youngest debutant for Cricket Australia in decades).
What called luck… We can understand here. This guy was dropped from Australian team as he was not able to overcome from his problems of facing short balls & see the fate. He died by short ball. Short ball haunted him for life.
I don’t want to share any more sad stories about him. I just want to share his records.
  • ·         Youngest Australian to hit 2 centuries in a test.
  • ·         First from Australia to hit 200+ score in a List A match in Australia domestic circuit.
  • ·         He was one of the youngest Australian to hit century in test cricket.
  • ·         His Highest First class score is 243*.
  • ·         His Highest List A score is 202*.
  • ·         His Highest T20 score is 87*.
  • ·         His last inns score was 63*.

Now No one can out him ever, even no short balls would ever harm him. With a tear in my eyes, I am leaving 63 Not out forever. My deep condolences are with Hughes family & friends. Also with Sean Abbott, who delivered the ball. You are innocent my boy. It was just an accident.

63 Not out would be remembering forever by World Cricket. RIP Phil Hughes, I am sure heaven will win the championship when you are around with them.

Sourav Ganguly: The “DADA” of Indian Cricket

9th November 2008 was the day when our own dada step in on field of cricket for last time. That was against the mighty Australian & fortunately Indian won the test & the series too.
The tale of DADA started in 1992 during westindies tour, which is more famous due to DADA’s attitude rather than his presence as a cricketer. Later this guy came back strongly in 1996 due to siddhu’s sudden withdrawal from the England tour due to dispute with that time captain Azhar. All is history now.
He is the only player in the world cricket, whose avg in tests never dipped less than 40. He rises in 2000 when India was suffering from cricket betting allegations. Same time, Azhar, Prabhakar, Ajay Jadeja etc banned from cricket for respective period.
He came back strongly & created TEAM INDIA.  Who has known for their arrogance, rough & tough on field. He found players like yuvraj, Sehwag, Harbhajan, Zaheer, Nehra, Kaif & rebuild careers of Srinath, Kumble, Dravid etc… I still remember the famous story of DADA, when he fought with Indian selectors to select Anil Kumble for the tour Australia in 2003-04. It was the period when everyone was talking about the end of kumble.  After that what happened we all knows it. This can be done by DADA only.
DADA was the captain, who taught Indian cricketers to reply to all sledges. He taught us to celebrate win. He created believe that we can win the world cup (Ref: 2003 world cup). According to few modern greats, the present winning team is the actually created by Sourav, who creates the toughness in cricketers. He gave them the authority to play without fear. He actually ploughs the Indian cricket, which is paying dividend now.
It doesn’t mean that he only tested success only. He had gone through lots of pain & discarded by media & team coach once. His famous ad on TV brought tears in DADA fans’ eyes. He was the king of returns. Later part of his career he played as all-rounder, as a bowler etc. However his inclusion always brought the positivity in team that brings positive results.
A grand salute to DADA, who has still millions of die-hard fans even he is, retires now. Only A SAURAV can make it possible.
Hope there will be a day when he will coach the TEAM INDIA :)

India vs Srilanka 3rd ODI

Sri Lankans won the toss and elected to field against India at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad.  Indians did one change in their team line up.  Ravindra Jadeja has replaced by Dhawal Kulkarni.
Once again India took wicket in first over today. This is the 13th time in this decade or so when Sri Lankans lost their 1st wicket in 1st over against India.  Mahela Jayawardena  played awesome inns of 100+ today. In this match he achieved the feat of 12000 ODI runs. He is the only 5th man to do so. He batted till 40+ over. He ran out of partners during his today’s brilliant inns. Only Dilshan played a handful inn once they were 7/2 in 2 over. Once he got out entire team just followed him until Mahela did small partnership with tail Enders.
However the score they reached was 242/10. For India Umesh Yadav, Akshar Patel, Dhawal Kulkarni& Ravichandran Ashwintakes 4, 3 & 1 wickets respectively.
For India, It was once again the openers who did an excellent job. However Ajinkya Rahane didn’t capitalize the good start & got out on 31. Shikhar Dhawan was the unluckiest player to get out on 91. Actually he was NOT OUT. It was bad umpiring. Virat Kohli  came on no 4 once again & scored a 50 as well completed his 6000 runs. Now he is holding the world record of fastest 6000 runs in world cricket. He broke the world record of Sir Viv Richards & India won the match convincingly by a good margin of 7 wickets & 5 over to spare.
Today Anushka Sharma (India actress) was at stadium & looks happy when kohli completes another 50. The best part when Virat celebrates his 50 in a special way towards where Anushka had set.
The Indian team for rest of the series that is 2 matches would be selected tomorrow.

My Team for The Tour of Australia (Only for 4 tests)

I have thought to write about this since last week.
I would start with openers’ slot:
Openers’: Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, KL Rahul/Robin Utthappa
Middle Order: Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane
Wicket Keeper: MS Dhoni (Captain), Wriddhiman Saha
All Rounder: Ravindra Jadeja, Rishi Dhawan/Karn Sharma
Spinner: R Ashwin
Pacer: Umesh Yadav, Varun Aron, Ishanth Sharma, Md Shami, Bhuvneshwar kumar
Reason:
Opener: We don’t have much option with openers as well, we can use make shift openers such as Rahane in worse condition.
Middle order is pack.
Wicket Keeper: Don’t have much choice available for wicket keepers as Saha is the best available keeper in India at this moment.
All rounder:  I always think that Jadeja must play in test as an all rounder. He needs guidance from seniors. He is having good range of shots as well he is very tight with ball too. Any one among Rishi & Karn can get an opportunity. Karn didn’t prove himself in longer format of the game. He is a good bits & pieces bowler and batsman. I have seen his batting in IPL, not impressed though his bowling is impressive. Rishi has performed well in longer format with bat & ball. However this guy does not have rapid pace however this guy can be handy as he plays his cricket in Dharmashala. The pitch is fast & helpful to bowlers.
Spinner: There is no one near Ashwin at this moment, when it comes to bare spin department.
Pacer:  These are the best 5 pacers available in India, who can take 20 wickets of oppositions on most of the surface.
I really want India to bat with 6+5 rather than 7+4. Ball won’t swing as much it was in England. Players like Jadeja/karn/Rishi (any one of them) + Ashwin+Bhuvi can easily make up for a batsman. The main issue would be pace and bounce. We saw India actually can play pacers better than spinner. Even they lost series in England not due to pacers due to their inability to play spinners.
The fielding & catching has to improve. I am sure India can create history in Australia. It’s a best ever opportunity for India to win a series against Australia.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI

The replacement of WestIndies series has been started. Today was the first match in Cuttack.
SriLanka started the match with winning the toss & elected to bowl first in such a stadium where the team batted first lost 4 out of 5 matches. Although India won 4 out of 5 matches there.

India started their inns with Ajinkya Rahane & Shikhar Dhawan. They did an awesome 200+ runs partnership. Both the players completed their respective ODI centuries. Raina came on bat at No 3. He played a good knock of 52 runs off 34 balls. He was paying his 200th ODI for India; as well he completes 5000 runs in ODIs. Also he completes 33rd ODI half century today.

SriLanka started their inns well, but lost wickets on crunch times. Varun Aron touched continuously 150+ before leaving the ground with pain. The injury is related to his right leg, & according to latest update he might not be available for the entire series. It’s a huge setback for this guy as he was bowling likeAK47. It was actually Ishant’s day out today. He took four wickets on his comeback ODI. He & umesh was awesome throughout the match. For India, ishant- 4 wickets, Axar & Umesh took 2 wickets, & Raina & Ashwin got one wicket each.

It was a great victory for Kohli & team.

MOM: Ajinkya Rahane.

Pest Control Services

What? Can’t we do it by ourselves? There are so many Questions, So many answers.
However, the true one is that pest control omits the pests from their root that causes diseases so we can say Best Pest control Service provider can help families to stay away from millions of diseases.
How one must go through the process to screen the BEST PEST CONTROL out of millions of small companies & some big fish? At this moment, one can avail the services of pest control for roaches control from Rs 300 onwards up to Rs 3000 per treatment in Bangalore. As far my point of view, more than price the information on roaches control as well a session to households on roaches control can make the change.
So, main factor is creating the awareness against pests.  Rather than just providing the pest control services. Once people are aware of the pests they can always bank upon those who actually shared the information with them rather than those who actually just provided the services.
The next generation of Pest Control services provider will have to bank upon creating pest awareness rather than mere proving the services.  I can say few companies have started it already. If others have not, than they have to start it on priority basis.

Pest Control Services in Bangalore

PEST, whenever the name we listen. The things first cross our mind is cockroaches, Ants, bugs. Mouse’s, flies, mosquitoes etc… Is not it?

If not, it means we are not normal enough. We are always talking, chatting with friends about politicians, terrorism, friends etc… But we never talk about pests. Why? Did we ever think why so? We only regret, when we listen that somebody passed away due to dengue, or someone is suffering from pneumonia, viral etc…

Come on guys. Come step forward. It’s the right time when you must talk about PEST CONTROL SERVICES. These are the SMEs who make sure that you will not suffer from pests while enjoying with your family/colleagues at home/office.

Now the big Question is how we will decide which company is THE BEST PEST CONTROL SERVICES provider. I am 100% agreeing that it’s tough. However one must give an opportunity to those who are ready to understand their issue rather than impose their own thoughts on one.
I know few youngsters who formed a company to serve people like you & the name is Pestron India (www.pestronindia.com). They are not a big name in the market however they already created some buzz in the market. Even the big players are trying to avoid them. It’s only because they are young and they are ready to help each and everyone. I heard from one of their client that they even response quickly when their idea has not worked. They provided free services to that person.

However the best pest control service available in Bangalore might be so many. Also, there are 100 of reasons to go with them. I would just request try once. They are economical and very friendly. They are friendly with you not with PESTS J

India vs WestIndies 2nd ODI update

As it was expected, this match was very important from India prospect. As if they would lose the match. They had to face too much criticism as West Indies are not considered as too tough team to beat in recent past.

India won the toss and speculation was there that they will be playing with Ishant (replacement of injured Mohit Sharma). As we know, Dhoni is unpredictable. He played with Umesh Yadav. This was the only change for #TeamIndia. The WestIndies team was unchanged.

India didn’t start well as Dhawan departs early and India’s struggling middle order exposed to West Indian bowlers. This time Ambati Rayudu came to bat on No 3 rather than usual virat. However Rahane & Rayudu both departed after start. India was in deep trouble in middle over when they lost their 3 wickets on 74. Then there was 105 runs partnership between Raina & Kohli. These two players completed their 50 respectively. Where Raina continues his current form from champions league T20, same kohli relieved after a much needed and scratchy half century after an England debacle. India must thankful to Dhoni who always plays a good knock in these situations. He played 51* knock to make sure that India posts 260+ score.

Westindies started really well and once they were 170/2 however the over from Shami started their collapse. Later Mishra, jaddu & umesh knocked them out. Where Shami took 4 wickets, Jaddu, Mishra & umesh took 3, 2, and 1 respectively. Bhuvi didn’t get any wicket. However he was very effective.

After this match, both teams are now on 1-1 in 5 matches series.

India vs WestIndies 1st ODI :preview

So finally the day has come when #TeamIndia will start their home series against #WestIndies. We all know that India is having upper hand in this series against WestIndies. They have not come with their star batsman Chris Gayle & Mystery spinner Sunil Narine. Chris Gayle is not playing due to injury & Sunil Narine had been reported for suspect bowling action.
On the other side, it’s a very good opportunity to test bench strength as well use their pace bowlers, who can be proven good in death overs. Team needs to sort out their middle over batting & best death over’s bowlers. It’s an opportunity for players like Kuldeep yadav, a 19 years old left arm wrist ( #chinaman) bowler from UP, who yet to debute for UP in List A & First class match. Though he got an opportunity to mingle with senior team members, he might not able to play initially as Amit Mishra might get an opportunity as a senior bowler.
Ajinkya Rahane can open the batting along with Shikhar Dhawan followed by Virat, Rayudu,Raina, Dhoni, Jadeja, and then the bowlers. I am excited for Kuldeep yadav. Let’s see, if he would get an opportunity.
So lot’s to prove for both the teams. You can watch this match on Star Sports 1 & 3.
You also can follow us on twitter too i.e,

5th sept 2013

Champions League update 2014

Champion's League update on 28th Sept 2014.

cltwenty20 update:

So, at the end of today's second match we got to know the final status of Group B.

The teams qualify for semi's are Kings XI Punjab & Hobart Hurricanes. Both teams played their best. Where #KXIP won their all 4 league matches and #HH only lost to KXIP.

However in other hand, Group A status: Kolkata Knight Riders is in semis. The two teams who are contesting for semi is Chennai Super Kings and Lahore Lions.

There are more chances that #CSK will be in semi. But the game of cricket is full of IFs & BUTs. If #LL wants to qualify for the semi finals, they need to win against Perth Scorchers by 47 runs or 33 balls to spare. It will be a mouth watering contest for sure. It's due on 30th of September 2014.

Still few more games are left except #LLvPS. All games are dead rubber.

So hope for the best for upcoming matches.
