IPL Verdict & A mixed day in Indian cricket

Today started with a fear/sacredness in the eyes of the Indian cricket administrator as well as fans. The Even entire world’s media  were waiting des [irately for the IPL Verdcit by LODHA COMMITTEE. As, we all were aware that today Lodha committee will share their report as well final decision today.
In between, India had to play Zimbabwe in 3rd ODI where if they win, then it will be a clean sweep by visitors as well ensure that they will be the No 2 team for a while. As day proceeds, we slowly got to know how the day will take shape.
Here is justice Lodha’s final decision:
  1. ·         Raj Kundra & Gurunath Meiyappan has been suspended from taking participate/involve in any format of cricket match. The ban/suspension starts from today itself from the time/date of this order.
  2. ·         Rajasthan Royals & Chennai Super Kings’ owners have been suspended for 2 years from Indian Premier League
  3. ·         Players are free to play for other teams & franchises, that can be sold off by BCCI/IPL

We will sure miss the spirit of these 2 teams. As once we heard always before every IPL starts, “All the team fight with each other to play with CSK in semi & Finals (most of the times).
Remember, Lodha Committee clears that Players would be unaffected from this verdict. They can’t be victimized. So, it’s my request to all cricket lovers that please don’t troll players. If you want you are free to do with the 2 persons who were banned from taking participate in cricket for life long.
Remember, we all love IPL & want to see IPL every year. So, it’s always good to support players because the culprits were the highest authority who had the power & players are just part of their employment (in IPL’s context).
Between, the evening ends with good news that India won the match against Zimbabwe & clean sweep the ODI. Now the rest of the 2 T20s will be on 17th & 19th of July 2015. Will be lead by Ajinkya Rahane.
I hope now anyone will think twice before involving into illegal betting. Let’s close the chapter here only & wish for a clean cricket here on….

Amen… Summa Amen!!!

The beginning of Team India

13th July 2002 was the day, when actually the real team India was born. It was an amateur condition under a mature & aggressive captain. I still remember I was only 16 then. I went to my Nana’s place to watch this match. I remember that time; if you score 250+ runs, 80% chances that you will win the match & it was 325. It was a massive score.
2nd inns was started (I am not focusing on what happened in 1st inns), Ganguly & Sehwag started briskly.  Especially Ganguly was in full fledge. His shots were all around the park. Unfortunately he departed shortly the partnership crossed 100+ mark within 14 overs & just after 21 overs India were 146/5. There were 2 players in the middle, named as Md kaif & yuvraj Singh. Both played & won U19 world cup together in 1998. Nobody ever thought that India can make it here & I am sure 90% of TV sets & radio could have been switched off by then. However my nana ji had faith in these 2 players as he always believed that “cricket is a game of uncertainty” & a big fan of Australian cricket. So we know why he kept his believe for Indian team.
After that what happened was the history. I remember in one of the interview Kaif told that when he won the match & the way Ganguly jumped on him. It could have been a serious damage to him. Also, his mom called & asked about how he is as she was scared on the things happened on field.
It was actually the last ball when this match was recorded in to the world cricket & Indian team changed to TEAM INDIA. Ganguly waved his T-shirt & show the world that we are no more a team who wins matches in India/asia subcontinent only.

We still remember this match for Ganguly’s showmanship. & I am sure we will not forget this day ever. After 25th June 1983, if Indians were affected or related themselves to patriotism was 13th of July 2002.
I cherished the every moment of the match & I will forever J
